I tried, in fact, starting it in Astro, NextJS and SvelteKit. They are amazing technologies and cool to brag about with my colleagues: How I wrote my blog in a weekend using only Svelte, cornstarch and a Chihuahua. However, that did not happen.

I wanted something minimal, no users, no auth, no complicated routing or dependencies… and most importantly, I wanted to start right away with my content. Focus in learning and writing, not in understanding better Typescript or starting another big project that would have made me wait for weeks until it is deployable. Of course, when you are skilled enough you technically could make a blog in a weekend, but I am not. That’s not my case, and that is why I resetted this project for nine times over the last three months.
